What's your favorite project you've ever worked on? (personal or work-related)
A machine learning project to generate original music. You can train it on songs any genre of songs that you want and it will generate new ones in that genre note by note. You can even smash up genres to see what it outputs. This is a song I created after feeding it some folk music. It was built using python/tensorflow with a Recurrent Neural Network (LSTM)
What is your favorite programming philosophy?
Do the minimal thing first. It's the most important element of the agile concept release early, and release often. Especially when your working with other stakeholders, it allows them a chance to know what is going on and make sure we're on the right track. It's an approach to solving problems that lets you know what the critical things are. It's important to break things down into smaller steps and tackle the most important thing first, as opposed to doing everything at once.
Why do you like working at Zensurance?
The culture and the people. We're trying to build a culture of developers helping each other learn and grow, and we actually do it instead of just talking about.
